The only five colors you need to start painting.

The only five colors you need to start painting.

I am going to tell you what and why you need these five colors. Do you want to paint, but don't know what colors you need well I am going to give you some answers today.

Yellow

What is Yellow used for? - Yellow is used for everything, well almost everything. So don't what yellow. You need yellow.

Yellow is especially important for mixing you can use it to mix any color. I would recommend cadmium yellow, yellow ochre, or chrome yellow (they are the best yellows around but don't tell the other yellows that). (It is up to personal preference).

Why Yellow - Yellow is crucial to every painting pallet. I use Yellow in Every one of my paintings some way or another. That is not an exaggeration.

Blue

What is blue used for? - Blue is also a primary color which means it is quite necessary for mixing colors.

And blue plays a huge role in painting landscapes and flowers like cosmos, forget me not flowers, mixing greens for flower stems and leaves, and some daisies.

why blue? -  Blue will be your free one-way trip to beautiful Skys, flowers, and bright and moody greens.

Pink

What is pink used for? - If you didn't know you don't need red! Red mixed with blue makes purple while that is the case for most things it is not a great way to mix purples in watercolor because it gives you a brown looking purple and when it dries you can see the red and the blue. So pink is your solution pink is a great way to get bright and moody purples using different variations of blue and pink. And to let you in on a little secret mix pink with yellow and by using different amounts of those colors you can get red and orange.

Why pink? - you will use pink in almost every flower that you paint Roses, Tulips, Poppys, daisies, ect.

the simple explanation of why you need black and white is....

You need black and white in any palette, oil painting, colored pencils, acrylics, markers ect. You need black and white for light and shadow, mixing colors, making colors lighter or darker, adding highlights in your paintings, and every masterpiece that you create will have black or white or both in your creation.

So, there you have it the five colors you need to start painting I hope you enjoyed this post comment on what posts you would like to see in the future and come back to see more posts. thank you for reading. Enjoy, bye.
